Data concerning individuals below 18 years are insufficient. However, an increasing number of municipalities are becoming aware that this group must be reported, and the trend in the number of persons under 18 years should therefore be interpreted accordingly. Due to the 2015 data not having undergone the same detailed quality control as from 2016 onwards, caution is recommended when interpreting trends from 2015. The statistics is only based on data from municipalities that have validated their data, and the statistics subsequently does not cover all 98 municipalities in the period 2015-2020, but all municipalities are included in 2021-2024.
