The figures in the table are based on a report from The Danish Work Environment Authority. The figures are aimed to contribute to a gender indicator for workplace accidents (found in table LIGEHI11) and to Sustainable Development Goal 8.8.1.

In 2021 and 2022, many COVID-19 related workplace accidents were reported. From 2016 onwards, the category 'Total' also includes individuals with unspecified gender. Regarding the category 'S Other service activities etc.', the figures for 2016 have been revised in connection with the publication of the 2017 data.
